My biggest worry is not The Packer Offense being able to score, it's
MM shutting them down and playing "not to lose", when The Packers get the lead.

Too many time last year MM went conservative.

Although it was only pre-season, the offense showed what it could do, hopefully MM lets them do it for a full 60 minutes!!!!

What was the stat from last year, 0-7 when either tied or leading by less than a touchdown going into the 4th quarter.(might not be exactly correct but it is close.

Hopefully The Packers won't be in that situation much this year, put the hammer down early and stay on it until the final whistle blows!!!!!

The bolded is probably the best point made in the thread so far, and it won't just be for this week, it will be ALL season. I've never been more frustrated with a coach's game plan than I was last season every week with Mike. Every time we'd get the lead he'd completely change the play calling on offense, effectively shutting ourselves down, and our defense went extremely conservative only to allow them to drive on us the rest of the game. If we can avoid this week 1, and the rest of the year, we should have a very good season.

Lots of worry warts here ...

#1 We are playing in lambeau
#2 We got the best secondary in the nfc north and personally I think in the whole NFC.
#3 Our guys have alot to prove when facing chicago in our house. Our 3-4 is made to stop the run. I'm not that worried about forte.

I'm a little worried that they might try to attack Kampy a lil more in depth than teams did in the preseason. Still not sure how he's going to handle a team picking on his coverage abilities.

LOL, j/k. I think that offensive teams facing #74 should worry more how a TE or RB is going to block #74 1-on-1, and keep him from sacking the QB than kampman covering a TE or RB.

I am worried about Greg Olsen getting in a 1-on-1 match up with brady popinga and having Olsen put up a huge day.

Really, I think the Packers offense is much stronger than the bears defense, and GB is going to beat the bears by two touchdowns!

Defense- Truly overrated. They don't have much to harp about other than Urlacher claiming this is his comeback year.

"AKamp74" wrote:

They also have a "healthy" Tommie Harris back which is huge for them. Just like us last year, they lacked pressure on the QB. so we'll see which teams approach to fixing that works better.

True, they have Tommie Harris but that seems to be it on the defensive line. The defensive line could be a threat. The only match-up I would be concerned about there is Barbre vs Ogunleye. He is fast off the corner, good thing that is Rodgers front side.
I will have faith in Barbre though, he is tough.

Edit* I was about to ask the same thing when I saw that Twinkie...looks like someone had anger problems going back to the last time the Pack/Bears played? Lol.
