Great call on predicting the Smith cut. +1.

I'm still shocked, the fact he didn't make the roster must have something to do with his attitude. On form he looked like the second best safety on the roster (far better than Bigby.)

I am shocked to a point that they cut Smith.. Mike McCarthy must have really had an issue with the kid.

I'm pretty surprised as well. He looked deserving of a spot in preseason. Maybe between McCarthy and Capers they just didn't see the kid working out. Or maybe they see someone who was waived who would fit in better.

Still, very surprising.

I really hope there was something more substancial then his past attitude.. if that is the case, you knew that tude' was there before you signed him.. then why bother with inking him to a deal?

Does anyone think that with the release of Smith, they'll put a claim on Brian Russell? Maybe Bernard Pollard? The safety position seems a spot of concern now.

Maybe Derrick Martin is that fill? I don't know.. but I am disappointed a little on Smith.. at least hold onto him until you have a better option on the roster.

That would be useless. Smith is better than both those guys.

I'm bummed, I guess I liked Smith more than I thought. Liked his play, even though he seemed to have a rough attitude. But, you need guys like that sometimes...especially in the safety spot.

Time to poor some Liene's out for a fallen player, lol

Ok I really don't understand wtf they are doing up there. I mean did the dude hit on ur daughter or something. Cause if not he brought additional production to the system. He produced bottom line. Winning in the NFL is about production on the field. He was a go getter. Bigby on the other hand hasn't done squat. Thenu dump sutton. Maybe he wasn't the fastest thing on the planet but again he prduced. You dump Lump for Wynn? WTF I don't understand. Why not cut bishop too why u are at it.

And to You 55 damn you and your sources lol +1 good call.
I am therefor I think.

I can NOT believe that Ted Thompson cut Anthony Smith. I am severely pissed off at this. Who is going to be the back up to Atari now? Jarret Bush? Yeah, I'm sure he'll be a star player......

WTF is Ted Thompson thinking!?!

Yeah, I threw up in my mouth a bit typing the names of those two stiffs. I'm just trying to think of some plausible reason to not keep him. I've got nothing. He outshined Bigby in the preseason in a huge way.
