lol now I know why Ted Thompson picked him up.

http://www.nfl.com/players/derrickmartin/profile?id=MAR566145

preseason wk 2, derrickk martin picks off brett farve and returns it for TD. Now Derricks in Farve's head great pick up :thumbright:

On a more serious note here is his scouting profile:

http://www.sportspool.com/football/draft/601.php

"He no doubt has the athleticism, strength, explosiveness and playing speed to be a good starting cornerback in the NFL who could break up a lot of passes and make interceptions consistently..."

Not shocked to see Moll moved. His days were numbered with Lang and Meredith being drafted.

I think this could mean Pat Lee is on PUP or IR. Maybe even released. I like Underwood more than Lee. I saw a lot from Underwood this preseason both good and bad, but I see a lot of raw talent. Lee is a nickel back in a man to man coverage unit. GB doesn't do that anymore.

Define "Packer People" as mentioned by the Packers.

The Green Bay Packers have traded T Tony Moll to the Baltimore Ravens for DB Derrick Martin. The transaction was announced Saturday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

A 5-foot-10, 200-pound fourth-year player, Martin has played in 28 games, including three starts, for the Ravens over his first three seasons. He was a sixth-round selection by Baltimore in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Moll appeared in 39 games, including 18 starts, for Green Bay over the last three seasons.

MOLL GONE??? HUZZAH!!!!

also, don't start with this Johnny Jolly, BJ Raji stuff. as an ex-H addict (2 years, 1 month clean ftw!) people deserve second chances, etc. also...lesser of evils, ffs.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Hey!! I said they would trade Tony earlier this week. I guess it is true that even a blind hog can find an acorn every once in a while.
