I like your list 93, exept I don't keep 3 fullbacks, I keep 4 running backs. Also, I cut Poppinga in lieu of Lansannah (no way he clears waivers). Also, I take the risk and only go with 2 TE's and cut Havner. The coaches are real high on Brad Jones, who has more upside than Havner.

If Tony Moll makes this team, I will blow a gasket.

I would love to see Jones and Lansannah make this team.. they are in the best 53.. but it is a numbers game. Unfortunately none of the ROLB have impressed this preseason.. so you have to keep the numbers there.. Havner makes it on TE depth moreso than linebacker numbers.

Lansannah is a thumper after my own heart.. blows shit up.

On the FB's... I see the three fullbacks having more impact than either Wynn or Lumpy.. special teams especially.. in the short yardage where Wynn might be effective.. throw Kuhn in the backfield. Johnson has just too much potential to risk waiving.. Kuhn and Hall bring it on special teams.. outside the box thinking here... however if we did keep 3 here.. maybe keeping only 2 at TE might be possible.. hence opening up a spot additionally for the linebackers.. Special teams is often overlooked in the makeup of the 53.

BTW.. Harrell to the IR.

Oh yeah, no way Poppinga gets cut. He's probably starting until Clay Mathews or Jeremy Thompson get up to speed.

Yeah 😞 I agree with that.... but I don't like keeping them when they are the best but don't fit into the numbers game.

I agree with that too.....

My latest 53 man list is like yours... but I cut TE/LB Havner and S Bush and kept LBs Jones and Lansannah....

Yes I went with 3 Safeties.... :cyclopsani: ..... look they may grab a S off of waivers but after the top 3 Safeties they have played just plain bad... other than Bush in the Browns game.... so I took the risk... they could claim someone off of waives and cut one of the LBs though... and I'm question this... but I don't think Bush looked good enough ether...

Also I'm really not sure about LT Meredith or OG Dietrich-Smith... Dietrich-Smith has played better but I think the Packers are solid at OG with Colledge, Sitton, Lang and Spitz if needed to move over. And other than Clifton the OTs haven't looked too good... the Packers need another OT IMO but Dietrich-Smith has out played Meredith so far....

I'll throw my predictions in as well mostly because I'm bored and it's been on my mind :)

QB
Aaron Rodgers
Matt Flynn
Brian Brohm

(3) - I don't expect a new quarterback here. You can't give up on a developmental 2nd round quarterback after two camps.

RB
Ryan Grant
Tyrell Sutton
Brandon Jackson
DeShawn Wynn

(4) - Spencer Havner's flexibility allows the Packers to keep an extra back. My guess is Wynn beats out Lumpkin.

FB
Korey Hall
Quinn Johnson

(2) - It's a toss up between Kuhn and Hall. The Packers may just try to trade one for a late round pick and keep the other because they're the same. Kuhn can run the ball a little though so that might give him thee edge. I'm still going with Hall. I think he's a better blocker.

WR
Greg Jennings
Donald Driver
James Jones
Jordy Nelson
Ruvell Martin

(5) - Don't fix what's not broke.

TE
Jermichael Finley
Donald Lee
Spencer Havner

(3) - Havner is a lock. He's a No. 1 special teams player and Finley and Lee have a chance to be the best TE duo since Chewy and Jackson.

OL
Chad Clifton
Daryn Colledge
Jason Spitz
Josh Sitton
Allen Barbre
Scott Wells
T.J. Lang
Jamon Merideth
Breno G

(9) - I'd keep Wells. He's versatile and if something happened, I'd feel better about Wells than Smith stepping in at center.

DL
Cullen Jenkins
Ryan Pickett
B.J. Raji
Johnny Jolly
Jarius Wynn
Michael Montgomery

(6) - Harrell will go on the IR IMO. If the cut anyone to bring someone in, Montgomery is my guess. Really impressed with Wynn. He could be a future starter one day.

OLB
Aaron Kampman
Clay Matthews
Brady Poppinga
Jeremy Thompson

(4) - These four seem to be a lock although Thompson is a major camp disappointment.

ILB
Brandon Chiller
A.J. Hawk
Nick Barnett
Desmond Bishop

(4) - I hope Chiller starts. He's earned it. Havner could be considered an emergency linebacker if needed.

CB
Charles Woodson
Al Harris
Tramon Williams
Brandon Underwood
Pat Lee

(5) - I like Underwood. He struggled against Tennessee, but I see a lot of upside. I'd keep him and I think he could start someday. Pat Lee stays on although his roster spot is in jeopardy if the opt to keep a safety.

S
Nick Collins
Atari Bigby
Anthony Smith
Jarrett Bush

(4) Rouse goes on PUP unless he's dealt. GB may look to add a player here. This area is the biggest concern on the team in terms of depth and even talent.

K Mason Crosby
P Jeremy Kapinos
LS Brett Goode
KR/PR Willi Blackmon

(4) - Seems like these guys are a lock.

Brad Jones will make the practice squad as will one receiver. Beyond that it'll be interesting how the fill out their squad because a lot of guys will be picked up by other teams. I think Lumpkin and Lansanah are among the few.

Nice list, porky. I agree with all of your picks, with one exception: I would substitute Brad Jones for Brandon Underwood. I am still expecting two or three trades, though. Thompson usually tosses in some surprises on cutdown day.

I like Darius Wynn a lot, too. I think he is rising quickly, considering where he was picked, and considering that most defensive linemen take at least a couple years to develop anyway.

Zero2Cool (18m) : I would think it would hurt the home team because people would have to cancel last minute maybe? i dunno
beast (26m) : I agree that it's BS for fans planning on going to the game. But how does it bring in more money? I'm guessing indirectly?
packerfanoutwest (38m) : bs on flexing the game....they do it for the $$league$$, not the hometown fans
Zero2Cool (1h) : I see what you did there Mucky
Zero2Cool (1h) : dammit. 3:25pm
Zero2Cool (1h) : Packers Vikings flexed to 3:35pm
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Upon receiving the news about Luke Musgrave, I immediately fell to the ground
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Yeah baby!
Zero2Cool (1h) : LUKE MUSGRAVE PLAYING TONIGHT~!~~~~WOWHOAAOHAOAA yah
Zero2Cool (3h) : I wanna kill new QB's ... blitz the crap out of them.
beast (3h) : Barry seemed to get too conservative against new QBs, Hafley doesn't have that issue
Zero2Cool (3h) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (3h) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (4h) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (4h) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (4h) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (4h) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (4h) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (4h) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (4h) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (4h) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (4h) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (4h) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (4h) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (4h) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (4h) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (4h) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (4h) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (5h) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (5h) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (5h) : Packers will get in
beast (5h) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (5h) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (5h) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (6h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (8h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (8h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (8h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (9h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (18h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (18h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (21h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
