Harrell was declared on the PUP going into last training camp.. went from active to a reserve and had to sit out the season..

I had questions myself.. that article was the easiest example of spelling it out I could find.. according the the NFLPA site.. that is the rule.. you have to be declared on the PUP prior to training camp.. IE... trying to avoid teams from hiding players at cut down on the PUP.

Carry 4 RBs. With Jackson already injured, and Wynn's proclivity for it, it just makes sense.

I know Wynn is a good player and a bruiser, unfortunately the guy can't stay healthy for the full season. We need to carry 4 RB's to be safe. I want Wynn to stay but I doubt that will happen. I am just hoping that Ryan Grant will have a career season this year. So far in the preseason he looks like the player we got from Giants.

My guess is that they will keep four RB's, but then dump one of them when Jackson comes back.

I really can't see them putting Jackson on IR for a sprained ankle. Sometimes a team will use IR to stash a rookie or maybe an injury-prone second-year player, but Jackson is too far into his career (third year) for the team to be farting around with him like that.
