Is this a serious question? Dude, no offense, but this question reeks of posting a thread for the sake of post count. You do realize you need 50 posts, at minimum, not 50 threads.

There is no way that our best play maker should be suiting up for a meaningless 4th pre-season game. I dare say everyone, and their mothers, would rather have Gregory sit out.

As most players that have made the roster and have a couple nicks on them.. he will play little or not at all.. the 4th preseason game is essentially a game designed to set the bottom end of the roster and clean up any areas on the clubs that may be in question or concern.. past that.. glorified scrimmage.

So to answer the question.. probably will sit.. as there is very little concern with the starting offense or passing games.

Yeah but the Titans are different and use the last game to set momentum for the season by playing their starters a lot.

As far as Jennings that depends how's he doing.... but he shouldn't play a lot ether way but with this being the last preseason game when if totally healthy he wouldn't anyways.

Ok Kingdom first off welcome secondly come on one line do you think posts are tiresome. Find something to right and make quality posts. Invoke some thought and maybe anger.

And no 1st string should sit and get playing time for 2nd and 3rd team.
I am therefor I think.

To me it is a simple answer. Do with Jennings as you do with the rest of the 1st team. I don't think his concussion was that severe to limit his play time if needed.

So if Rodgers, Grant, Driver are in the game, play Jennings. If you rest them rest him as well.

Well this should end the question..

No Jennings this week: After sustaining a concussion in the first quarter against the Cardinals, receiver Greg Jennings was held out of practice on Sunday and wont play against the Titans.

I think hell be fine for (Week 1 against) Chicago, McCarthy said.

Jennings went through the brief stretching period on Sunday but watched the remainder of practice while standing off the side. He was knocked out briefly after getting sandwiched by a pair of Cardinals defensive backs.

I'm with PackFanWithTwins.
If his injury isn't holding him up, then he should play along with the 1st team if they do take any snaps.

This I agree with if little risk is involved.. but with Jennings being ready to roll.. playing the safe card might be a great call..

As far as posting as the topic ended.. just thought I would throw it up there.. decision made.. now there is some merit to the question.

Is playing it safe in the final game of the preseason the correct way to attack the season? I for one.. think no..

Every practice is a risk for the players.. every snap is a risk.. so is playing a half of ball really adding significant risk to your call clubs health?

Beat me to it. Regardless of what anyone here thinks should happen, it is already decided he won't be playing.

I have always thought that the starters should play, 1 or 2 series in the final game. Much like resting the starters once playoffs are locked. I have seen to many occasions teams coming in flat after that basically week off.
