Adam Schefter, of ESPN, reports the Denver Broncos have suspended wide receiver Brandon Marshall for the rest of the preseason for conduct detrimental to the team. If Marshall behaves himself during the remainder of the preseason, the Broncos can bring him back for Week 1.
The suspension follows Marshalls behavior during practice Wednesday, Aug. 26. He was acting unprofessional during the session, punting a ball away after a drill instead of giving it to a ball boy and nonchalantly working through a high-step running drill between cushioned obstacles among other things. Marshall made an apology on ESPN Thursday, Aug. 27, saying he made an error in judgment and implied some of the footage was taken out of context. The Broncos informed Marshall and the team of the suspension Friday, Aug. 28.
