That is some scary-assed shit right there.

I want Ted to go on vacation when they make this decision. His luck sucks at this.

As soon as the plane takes off, Mike can put all the candidates names in a hat.

Go get the combination plumber beverage dispenser repairman for the GBP, (how lucky is he as a plumber, after all--Mr. butt crack makes the big-time, plus if he gets a little thirsty he can "test the system" hopefully not confusing the drains with the beer taplines.)

Have the beer guy draw the name.

My bet is we have at least as good of a punter as our braintrust seems to be able to secure with all of their analysts and scouts.

Just keep Ted away from the decision. He should not be allowed to run with scissors OR pick punters...and I LIKE Ted.

With our offense, we don't need no stinken punters, hell 93Z could handle the job.

Well Brooks has this hip flexor that he was apparently unaware of when he was first held out. Is it possible that they put him on the injured list to start the season, lose Kapinos, bring in a punter from one of the other camp battles in the NFL, and then if that guy fails, Brooks is miraculously healed?

If we cross the opponents 45 yard line, I believe in 4 down territory anyway. I can't stand punting the ball into the end zone from the 40.

We have a prolific offense, why hold them back?

To correct a misconception that has apparently arisen in this thread, hip flexors are muscles, not injuries. It appears he has injured his hip flexors and is therefore unable to kick at the moment.

We have a prolific offense, why hold them back?

The average offensive play in the NFL nets over 5 yards. Statistically, there is no reason to choose punting over going for it on 4th if you have less than 5 yards to go and you're inside your opponents' 50.
