Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers QB Matt Flynn (shoulder) missed the team's practice Tuesday, Aug. 25. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Flynn's injury is a strain and that it's just a matter of getting the soreness before he's cleared to practice. McCarthy said, "He's got his full range of motion. Until they get that soreness out or get it strong enough, he can't (throw)." It's not known if Flynn will be ready in time for the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 28.

Rob Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers FB Korey Hall and FB John Kuhn appear to be competing for a roster spot since FB Quinn Johnson is a good bet to make the team. Hall gained a significant edge over Kuhn because of his performance in the team's first preseason game.
