I think NOT committing verbally one way or another was the best thing to do by the teams that followed this. Look, the Eagles said they weren't interested, then signed him. At least we know when we talk to Ted that he won't bullshit us. He tells us straight up 'i dont know' lol

Why do we want it locked so badly? If it generates some posts, why not keep it open. If it's going to be miss used, it can always be closed later on.

I, myself, am slightly disappointed that we didn't sign Vick. I mean, his deal is interesting, but it really doesn't cost the Eagles a lot.



I guess that Ted Thompson didn't feel the necessity to sign this guy, especially with so many question marks after 2 years of prison. Maybe he didn't want to cope with all the PR crap yet again. Maybe he just thought that his team was good enough as it is. Or maybe Vick just didn't want to come to GB at all.

I don't know, but still, it is slightly disappointing.

Seriously, I suppose Philadelphia was about as good a place as any for him to land. Not only do they have the mobile QB thing, but it is also a big city, which will probably be better for him. I think he would've stood out like a sore thumb in a place like Green Bay.
