I didn't watch a lot of the game, but when I saw Vince Young playing well it was bad. What happened to him? I know he has never been too great a passer but his floaters were not even near their targets. I watched the beginning of his playing time and he was 1/5 with a pick. Colinsworth was talking about his confidence so are we seeing Brad Lidge Syndrome? I just wanted to know what you guys though about it.

This sentence doesn't make much semantic sense. Are you saying that even when you saw Vince Young playing well, it was bad, or are you saying that when you saw him playing, well, it was bad?

In other words, are you saying his best is still bad or that he is bad period?

 Was just thinking that and then I saw Cecil's bloody mug and figured you already had it covered. I'm assuming the latter is correct.

Well, when I saw Vince Young playing it was bad. I didn't watch much of the game.

If Vince Young plays like I saw him play he will not play.

I have a feeling he will be the #3 QB this season then gone the next.
The NFL just might not be where he belongs.

I saw Vince Young not play in a game, and he was pretty good. That was of course before I didn't see him play in a different game he wasn't in, where he was awful.

Vince Young will be released this preseason (IMO).. his play has declined past the point of no return in Nashville. He needs a change of location, however with his play no one is going to take that contract in trade. And with the way his alligator mouth is overloading his hummingbird ass.. the Titans are worse off with him sitting on the team pouting.

Cut the cord with him after it is apparent there is no trade market for him with his less than stellar play. Take the hit and move on.

A team with a strong rep for developing QB's could pick him up and allow him to grow in a number 3 role and a decent contract... and maybe he has a future in this game. However that is something Vince would have to come to terms with.. and that isn't a given.

IMO... he is painting himself and the Titans in a corner.. which long term isn't the worst thing in the world.. he need a location change. Doubt his talent.. I ask you to que up the Championship tape in college.. the guy made every throw and play that day.. he can do it physically.. mentally.. who knows.

How many "can't miss" college QB's ended up in the dump?
Todd Marinovich, Andre Ware, Akili Smith, Cade McNown, Alex Smith.....and the list could be a mile long.

Thank you for clarifying, colton. I think we all agree with your point. :)

And +1 to Z for this novel turn of phrase:

the way his alligator mouth is overloading his hummingbird ass.
