Mike Singletary was a fine football player, and I wish him all the success in this world.

Go Pack just said he would feel sorry for Coach Singletary if Crabtree held out.

That is the last person on this planet I would feel sorry for. Singletary gave Crabtree an effective "out" in the PR/pressure battle regarding this holdout by deciding that the media would be an awesome venue for reminiscing
about the good old days when he held out himself as a player twice.

He sucks at putting heat on a player to get his ass into camp. Sucks.

I have mentioned this before. Just as those agents would be remiss by not doing what is in their power to help their client, Singletary failed in his responsibilities to his team in this particular aspect.

Feel sorry for him? I feel like we as Packer fans are paying for his failures in this department, due to the logjam and the Raji thing.

Crabtree wouldn't be the No. 4 or No. 5 receiver for long, simply because he'd be the highest paid WR on the team.

Crabtree is an idiot.

Way to be the next Clarett, you tool.

Frankly, it amazes me that a player who likes to portray himself as such a high-character guy, like B.J. Raji, would be willing to throw in his lot with a diva like this, simply for the sake of a few extra bucks. The longer Raji holds out, the more inextricably his name will be intertwined with Crabtree's. That can't be good in the short term, nor necessarily the long term. Unless Raji plays absolutely lights out on the field, his reputation will be tainted.

Having millions of dollars thrown at you just isn't enough for some people.

If Raji goes down with injury secondary to lack of preparation, he will be be vilified -- and rightfully so.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
