I almost became a Viking Fan today...

For about 15 minutes I was confused, wavering, and I had a slight shade of purple flowing through my veins.

Randall McDaniel just blew me away in his acceptance speech at The Hall Of Fame. I mean Really blew me away. I had no idea this guy was such a class act, such a giving, sincere, and wonderful Human Being.

This guy inspired me for 15 minutes.

He is a very classy person from head to toe.

WOW! Just WOW! is all I can say.

Randall McDaniel defines a true professional and one fine individual.
His is the way that is not often mentioned in the media.

His pro career stats speak for themselves, and his quiet demeanor belied his tenacity. He was truly one of the best offensive guards to play the game

The lasting image of McDaniel's career is that awkward stance, a technique no sane coach would ever endorse. (the result of an injury).

But what I believe defines him as a person is what he has done since retiring from the game.
He's now a full-time basic skills instructor at an elementary school in a Minneapolis suburb. This willingness to work with such young children is simply put.......awesome.

The list of guys that have played in the NFL I would care to meet is very short.
Randall McDaniel is on that list.

Congrats to him.
Just goes to show you that even the VIKINGS can have a classy guy on their team..........even if it WAS a LONG time ago!!!

And RP......we will let you slide this ONE time for saying that EVIL thing you said.......just don't let it happen again.
