que whiny statement about Mark Murphy and every packers fan treating Rodgers like god and Rodgers not being a franchise QB... blah blah blah

Well to late i'm here ๐Ÿ˜› So when did we sign Rodgers for 10 years? Also just so you know Rock the shareholders are just fans that spent a $100 on a piece of paper (like i did) they aren't really important people of the Packers.

As far as the rest we will have to see how things fall.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be ๐Ÿ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I'm just going to let that first one slip by, since you know that not a single team just releases their franchise QB. The Cutler stuff was, most likely, a once in a decade debacle.

As to the shareholders, I asume that the ones who get invited have a little more shares than one, right? I mean, I can imagine that the ones who get invited to a real roudtable meeting are also the ones who have invested a little more than $100,- (Just speculation, I have no idea).

That makes me thing about something else though. What stops one person to buy 51% of the shares and own the Packers?

1 share you are in. Husband and wife owners need two shares for both to attend. No one can own more than a certain percentage of the team.

Type Green Bay Packers Inc. into a google search. The issuance is not only unique in sports, it is unique in business. There are many things about the stock ownership that is really quite cool.

This one explains it

From what I'm getting, they're selling shares on popularity. There's no dividends and you can't even sell the shares back for the price you bought them at. No one can have more than 200.000 shares and the organization is listed as a 'non-profit, community-owned corporation'. They just give out shares whenever they get into financial trouble and all the revenue stays within the organization (as the 'no dividents' implies).

This is one of the weirdest business models I have ever seen and not one company, but a loved sports franchise, could pull this off.

So when did we sign Rodgers for 10 years?

Can you answer one simple question for me?

Why is it exactly that you dislike Aaron Rodgers? Is it because Ted Thompson brought him here or what?

He has a good season and now it seems like you want him out of town.

I believe he just isn't convinced that Rodgers is all that, eeven though he had a top 10 QB preformance. I also think he hates rodgers that much just to annoy us.

Well yes, but judging by his previous comment, it seems as though he wants him out and someone else in.

And from that, I ask him: If Rodgers is gone, who do you want to be our QB? No matter who it is going to be, Ted Thompson will have to bring him here. Does this mean you will hate every QB that Ted Thompson brings here no matter who it is, unless his name is Brett Favre?

Just askin'.....

We need diversity on this forum.

No one on this forum since the late departed DePack is being obnoxious, rude, insulting, and tawdry. No one is making personal assaults to posters.

Zero and the Mods have done a brilliant job.

Forget about this forum. I think some fans just either have hate, or just love the attention they get by being so far off the curve.

Diversity is a good thing.

I'm not sayin' it's a bad thing that hazer is different in his opinion than other Packer fans. I'm just asking him as to why he thinks our QB is not good enough to be our franchise QB.

We don't really NEED anything here. I feel most of the posters here are pretty level headed and fair when it comes to discussions and such. Not everyone agrees with eachother but it isn't like we are dealing with rampant homerism.
