Thursday's the day for me-Ozaukee Idol semi-finals

I'll be singing for my Ozaukee Idol life this coming Thursday (the 23rd) at Concordia University in Mequon Wisconsin at 7pm. It's free to anyone that wants to come in and watch. So if any of you live in the area and want to check it out, you are welcome to come!
There will be both the Idol and Junior Idols singing. 20 people total i believe.
All I have to do is make it through this one, and I'm in the finals Sunday August 2nd at the Ozaukee County Fair.

I'll be singing the Johnny Cash song "Folsum Prison Blues" for the semi's.

The good part is, the head judge was giving me pointers for the FINALS at my audition. I said "But I'm not even through the semi's yet!" and his response was "You'd really have to screw it up not to make the finals. Your voice is too good."
So as long as i don't collapse, i should be in the finals.

Good luck Johnny. Are you going to wear all black? If you win maybe I can get you a gig at my Mom's retirement home. They have entertainment at least three times a month; some fair to good and some they put up a Blues Brothers Net in front of. Man, some of those old folks can really chuk those canes.

Hey Bob!
As a matter of fact, i AM gonna wear all black! Gotta "feel" the role as well as sing it.
Wischeez, my wife will be recording it. But as of right now, i don't have a camcorder with USB hookup, and i don't have a firewire hookup yet either.
I might be able to get it done somehow, but right now it's up in the air. I WANT to post it if i can figure it all out.
I have a nephew that says he can put the firewire port into my computer. It's just trying to get him over here to do so.
So we will see.
