WHOO HOO!!!
I had the crowd going! (No, i don't mean they left!)
I'm in the finals!
There are 9 finalists for the "Junior Idol" contest, and 6 adults for the "Idol" contest!
Man...was it FUN! The ONLY problem was with the sound system. But they did the best they could with it. Everyone was clapping along with the song as i sang. They had 4 judges, and not one of them had anything negative to say about how i did.
You guys would have loved it!

So.....Sunday August 2nd, i will be singing for the title at the Ozaukee county fair. Admission to the fair is FREE.
The contest starts at 1pm, at the Centre Stage.
So if any of you want to see it, come on and watch!
I really have a good feeling that i have a real chance, even though i have some great competion. It was fun sitting and just watching the other contestants.

The only downer last night was, they had all of us get up on stage to make the choices. One young lady that was in the Jr. Idol part was next to me, and didn't make it to the finals. She started crying, and i felt so bad for her.
When we got home last night, my wife had me hook up the camcorder to the VCR so i could watch how it went. Honerstly, everything from the time i walked on stage till the end was a blur to me. I knew it was going good, but couldn't honestly remember any details. Seeing it myself, i was SHOCKED at how much better of a stage presence i had from last year to now. I REALLY had fun doing that!
Now....on to the 9th inning!!!
