If we are voting on this, mine would a resounding hell no. And mine is for selfish reasons only. I'm surrounded by 80% Viking fans who would be laughing their asses off at me for this move.

Brohm has been a bust so far, but I don't think you can fault Ted Thompson for signing him in the 2nd...it made a lot of sense, possibly a 1st rounder falls, nice depth/project. He just hasn't panned out.

With that said, I'd feel better with a vet, but not TJack...decent at end, but very inconsistent and wants to start, plus he's a purple puke.

As someone else said, the pack shouldn't sign the vikes rejects, only the other way around.

Way to early to give up on Brohm. Rodgers was awful in his first two years too. Finally came on in year three. We'll see how Brohm does next year, but right now, he's still very much a work in progress.

I've seen enough of Jackson to know he's not an answer at QB. I wouldn't sign him let alone give up something to get him.

Brohm did not look good his rookie year? Well, for shame!! Transitioning to the pros, in one of the more complex offenses in the league, and some are suprised that he did not shine.......

Develop him, trade him and take the bounty in another year or two. And, keep drafting and developing QBs.

If Brohm turned into a hall of famer and led the Vikes to a dynasty of superbowl wins...that would suck.

The Vikes have a mess at QB, T-Jack has been used and abused, Sage is hardly the future and Favre puts a spanner in the works both this year and down the road.

I'm happy not to give them their QB of the future. Let them continue to try and find and develop their own, something they seem incapable of doing.

Now if they cut T-Jack and MM thought he could make something of him then thats a different scenario.
