Bring him in. Learn all of the offensive signals off of him. Load Woodson up with that knowledge. With Favre throwing, Woodson baiting him AND knowing exactly what is going to transpire... he could be looking at 5 picks a game. Even if the Vikings have to change shit up, it would still be funny as hell to screw with them like that. "Hey Brett... Darrell here. You know that playbook you "don't have" that you've been studying for when we officially bring you on board? Yeah, scrap all of the at-the-line terminology. We will fax you the new stuff. Try not to get confused."

I missed this.. Wow! I'm obviously for it!

Of course you are, you're one of those intelligent Viking fans, which brings me to a question: how do you guys keep rooting for that team year after year when you know the ultimate outcome before the season starts? Better yet, how do you buy into the annual pre-season hype that always comes your way.

I was watching the Jamie Dukes and Rod Smith man love on the Vikings the other night on NFL channel and I could hardly control my stomach acids.

Just drink some grape koolaid and let yourself throw it up. It will be like purging the Viking crap from your system.

No, no, no, this is all wrong. It is the Vikings who take Packer castoffs, not the other way around.

Well it IS Mike Florio, a Vikings fan, who came up with the idea. Technically speaking, he is using our cast off idea of giving up a QB that is no longer wanted to the other team. Even their rumors are cast offs!

You do bring up a good point Mass but i'm thinking the other way. Don't you think that Favre can bring in alot of the knowledge of the Packer offense to the Vikes defense? After all you know they run the same type of offense and he knows it probably better than MM. It was just a thought i came up with when i saw your comment.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Possibly. More likely the other way though. They are constantly changing shit to stay ahead of the curve. Favre is two years removed. T Jack is not EVEN removed yet.

Yeah, but remember T-jack didn't receive the whole playbook, he just got the hooked on phonics version. Have you ever seen the guy give an interview?

beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
