That's why they play the game. If anyone really thinks Cutler will play as well as he did next year as he did last year, they are crazy. He has all new receivers, and these new receivers are f rated compared to the A-B rated receiving corps he had last year(even though i cant stand Marshall).

Favre will be healthy, in a familiar offense, with much more time to prep for the season and up against familiar foes.

Who will have the better (numbers) out of the group is different from the better qb. Football aint all about numbers. I'd say this, anyone who would rather have Cutler or Rodgers over Favre behind center, down 6 points, with 2 minutes remaining is "borderline delusional" as you put it. And to be honest, isn't that what it's all about? Hell, Daunte Culpepper had one of the greatest single seasons in league history and he can only find work on the Dolphins, Raiders and Lions(the worst teams in the league at that particular time).

How could the Vikes possibly jump ahead with Favre who is not even ready, not in shape, hasn't practiced with the team and doesn't have the receivers we have. Rodgers was better in his first year if that's not a clue how bad he would smoke Brett if he does come back. Let me whisper a secret " Brett aint going to get better, ok? He's getting OLDER and more beat up every year he plays." Get real.

I get a kick out of all the Vikings fans that have hated his guts for all these years but now that there is a glimpse of hope he could play for THEM he all of a sudden becomes Superman.

It would be alright with me if he went there. Next year they will be looking for a new QB AND a new HC. Sorry, but at this stage he's a coach killer.

To be honest i would take Cutler Favre then Rodgers in the last 2 minutes of a game. Favre i think can still do it but he does have the tendency of giving us the oh shit what are you doing pass, Rodgers hasnt won anything in the last 2 minutes so thats why he is 3rd.
