Grant's hamstring "very sore"

McCarthy said that Grant's hamstring was very sore at halftime last night and that affected him even on his long run in the 2nd half.

I certainly hope this doesn't linger on for the entire season. We need Grant. Brandon Jackson still seems to run timid and too indecisive.

Thoughts?

I know that doesn't sound good, but I think we can still beat the Lions with Jackson and Lumpkin. It'd be more important to have Grant 100% for the Dallas game.

so true and lumpkin is a beast i know it was preseason but i think this guy is good rest grant play jackson :icon_smile:

I'm pretty sure Grant was pretty pooped his first game last season. I expect him to get into the groove after a couple of games.

I think MM knows what he is doing.

We are gonna beat the :xcensoredx: out of the Lions early and often. By mid second quarter, Grant will be done for the game and resting.

I'm pretty sure Grant was pretty pooped his first game last season. I expect him to get into the groove after a couple of games.

So true. I pulled a hammy when I played summer softball. It bothered me all year long. I know I have never been in the same condition these guys are in but it is hard to get them healed up.
