wow i didn't read everyone's comments so forgive me if this has been posted already. DD only has 5 fumbles and only 3 lost in 10 seasons. that is pretty solid if you ask me. 😛

Honestly i think the first half of last season Jennings was undisputably top 10, if not top 3 or 5, but he didnt have quite the same production at the end of the year.

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but I thought we already had the discussion about Driver's shot at the Hall. Jennings too, even at his current rate, is a very long shot.

The NFL has become very pass happy and there are too many WRs racking up incredible numbers. Gregorious was only 6th in receiving yards and 8th in receiving TDs last year. Awesome WR, don't get me wrong, but saying he's worthy of the Hall is taking the Green and Gold lenses to a whole new level. Keep in mind, his peers include Randy Moss, TO, Steve Smith, and Larry Fitzgerald.

That said, how does Gregorious make the Hall? TDs. That means MM needs to be more aggressive. More passing on first downs. I saw the stats in '08 and the Rush/Pass ratio raised in terms of rushes and was the highest of the last 3 years.

Screw the run. We should really be a pass first team like we were in '07. We're top tier when it comes to WRs. It's us, NE, and Arizona. Aaron is awesome and only getting better. Then throw the damn ball more, especially in the red zone.

Gregorious needs to start getting double digit TDs year after year. That's his best shot of making the Hall. Gregorious' YAC is downright awesome. That said, play to your strengths. We all know Driver is awesome with YAC. Let's see more opportunities for YAC.

I like that, Zombie. I know it helps to have a good running game going to get more people in the box and keep the defense on their heels. Thing is, this works the other way as well. If we pass a lot, we can get more of an outside pass rush on us, which means lanes will open up for Grant.

I think that you should go with your strong point to make your weak point better. It's pretty obvious that the strong point is our passing game and the weak point our running game. Just look at Minny, they're winning a lot and they don't even have a viable option at QB.

Zombieslayer explained the point I made earlier in this thread much better than I could have (thanks, man). Peter King outlined this same concept several months ago in his MMQB column. Because of the changes to the game in the past decade or so, there are so many receivers putting up incredible numbers -- and there are so few slots that can be filled a year -- that the queue of potential Hall of Fame nominees is choked with wide receivers. It is conceivable that many of today's top-flight performers won't even garner serious consideration, and merely being in the top ten certainly won't be enough to get in.

The only way Donald Driver sees the inside of the Hall of Fame is on a guest pass, same as the rest of us -- as he himself implicitly admitted in the interview posted a few days ago on Packers.com. Jennings has a long way to go before he'll be mentioned in the same breath as "Hall of Fame" anywhere outside Packer Nation. I stand by my assertion that it will take stellar performances in at least one SuperBowl (realistically, probably two) for him to have any chance of factoring into the HoF equation.

The good news is that with the man we currently have at the helm of our team -- and more importantly, with the administration this organization has in place -- I believe this has a decent chance of happening.

Shancoe is pretty high on Jennings, it seems.

Nick, OH 05:14 PM ET
Who do you think is the best WR in the division Johnson, Jennings?

Visanthe Shiancoe , Minnesota Vikings
They bring different games though. They're both high caliber players and they both make big big plays, so I would say it has to be between those two. I can't choose between those guys. They are equally as explosive. Jennings probably brings more experience to the game.

Zero2Cool (14h) : If only we had a topic to read about and discuss it. That's something new website must have!!!
dfosterf (14h) : Justice Musqueda over at Acme Packing put up an excellent synopsis of the Packers 1st round options this am
wpr (19-Apr) : 5 days
beast (18-Apr) : 6 days
wpr (17-Apr) : 7 days
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
