How the heck does someone end up with 13 Season Tickets in Green Bay?

Read the comments section on the bottom of this article. Interesting.

Maybe their dad was a pretty smart guy and stocked up on them when you didn't have to get in a 100000 people line.

I don't really like this system anyway, but when people screw it over like this, it makes you quite pissed. I'm not even buying tickets and I think that these people shouldn't have 13 season tickets. Just sell the tickets on a game to game basis or come up with a different system for season tickets or people will keep taking advantage of it like this.

Can't seem to locate the article, but I remember hearing about tavern owners that were not able to pay that stadium fee back when because they had something like 40 tickets.

I don't like the being able to will tickets, you can see how some people have been able to stockpile tickets. Get a set of their own through the list, and get others willed to them. I think they should remove the ability to pass tickets through the family.

While I am pissed off at this situation, I am trying to run reasons through my head why the father left all tickets to one son and is having them split 55% to 45%.
Wonder who the favorite was???

Well how would that work? For example, a guy and his son go to games together their whole lives, and then when the dad passes away, the son loses the tickets? Are you pissed off at the people who have 2 tickets and go to every game that they can possibly make for their entire lives, parents to children, going on 3 generations?

Just because some people take advantage of it to get over a dozen tickets doesn't mean that we should rashly go ahead and screw everyone. How does someone on a waiting list deserve the tickets any more than people whose families have been paying for the tickets for decades? How do you justify taking away those tickets, in effect, to give to someone else?

Just curious. 🙂 Not an issue for me going forward, because our tickets our in both of our names already (father and son).

I would guess that if the tickets could not be passed on, then the list would move much faster. Which would enable the kids to get their own tickets prior to the father dieing.

Not THAT much faster. Maybe sometimes, in clumps, for people like this who have a lot of tickets.

How about just put a cap on how many can be transferred, if this kind of abuse is what bothers people?

I know there is no exact number, but what is the waiting list? 35 years or so? By not being able to pass the tickets on, that would probably drop to somewhere in the mid 20 range for years. So by putting your kids on the list when young, they would probably get tickets by the time they graduate college or shortly after. Which is also about the time that they would be able to afford them.

Capping the number somehow might work also.

beast (2h) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (3h) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (3h) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (3h) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (3h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (4h) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
beast (4h) : It's not official until I'm dead! I have a chance still! (Not really)

Mucky Tundra (23h) : Was that for the team or the city?

Martha Careful (26-Apr) : Bum Phillips used to say there are two ways to get better. Get better players or get players to play better. We have a new DL coach
Zero2Cool (26-Apr) : Yes. Look at the losses last year. They can win.
beast (26-Apr) : Can Packers win with their current DL?

dfosterf (25-Apr) : 7 minutes between picks in the 2nd round
Martha Careful (25-Apr) : Sorry to bitch, but the headline writers in that section absolutely mislead, or don't know how to read. It is maddening
Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
TheKanataThrilla (25-Apr) : Pickens for Jaire may be interesting. Definitely not sure we want Pickens long term.
dfosterf (25-Apr) : No.Absolutely not
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : NO NO NO NO NO NO!!1 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
dhazer (25-Apr) : scenario: Our main prospects are off the board when our pick comes around, do we just throw a 2nd round pick at Pittsburgh for Pickens
