I don't think it's right to be able to put tickets in your will. To me, when you die, they should be fair game for the next person in line.
It's not fair to other life long fans that would love to see a game, but can't because they have to pay outrages prices to a scalper or broker.
I know it's not going to change in my lifetime, but just giving my viewpoint.

I just looked at my card.........I'm number 17,533 in line.
I figure i should get my 2 tickets by the time i'm 165 years old.
Give or take a few decades.
EDIT:

Wow....was my math off. I'll be 301 years old!

This line in the story made me laugh!
" An average of 70 people give up their tickets every year, which means you'll have your tickets by the 3074 season. Luckily you'll still catch Brett Favre's last year."
LOLOL!!! :thumbleft:

Not sure if this has been posted.....

How the heck does someone end up with 13 Season Tickets in Green Bay?

Read the comments section on the bottom of this article. Interesting.

Man........that shows you what true "Packer Fans" they are.

Here's what i think we should do.
Find out exactly which seats they are, buy them up for a game, and do things bad enough to get thrown out of the game, thus, getting the seats permanently revoked from these two greedy SOB's.

According to these report it was somewhere in the upper 30's in 07.

Ahh yeah, well that's retrospective. They waited 37 years and got them in 2007. Now it's astronomical. Someone could put their kid's name on the list and one lucky year, their fossilized remains would be able to go!

Last year I signed up to be on the Redskins season ticket waiting list just for the hell of it, and I'm already at the "top of the list" lol.

Shows the difference between fan bases and franchises.

it really doesn't bother me that the tickets are willed to family members as long as said family members are actually FANS of the packers.

i think it's a little like farm land. my parents have accumulated several hundred acres over the years. then, my dad died. everything changed. we cash rent it out & it has lost its meaning. a couple years ago, i would have said "no way will i EVER sell my land". now, i'm not so sure.

same with packers games. it was something i did & enjoyed with my dad. now he's gone & it's just not the same.

I signed up when I was 18. Got them in my 40's when they expanded the seating.
I am not sure what I will do with them when I die. My kids are not big fans although my son is slowly coming around. I have a couple of cousins who are die hard fans. I may pass them on to one of them. (I think 1st cousins is far as the rules allow.)
