Since some folks were whining like a virgin after prom night that we didn't get Crabtree in the draft, what would the Pack have to offer Arizona for Boldin? Since draft picks are out of the question with Uncle Ted running the show, it'll have to be players.

I'd give up Driver and Harris for him. Negatives would be losing those two awesome professional veterans. But the positive would be ensuring one of the best receiving corps in football for quite a few years.

How old is Boldin?
I'd hate to give Driver to ANY team. I like the guy too much. His class on and off the field is rare.

ya see thats the problem - I'm too happy with driver and jennings and jones (as long as he can get out of injury status) to want to jerprodize them leaving for someone else.

Nelson is also pretty good but I dont rate him as well as I do the others.

So IMO pass on boldin and keep our current WRers.
oh I do want to see how jennings old college buddy performs (if he makes the team).

I like driver and jennings much more then boldin to tell you the truth.

You can't trade Driver or Harris. They have too many years on them for another team to offer you very much for them.

Even an old starting QB starts off as only a 4th round pick.

You would have to offer Jennings plus other players to get Bolin.

I just read today where some team interested reported AR wouldn't budge for less than a 1st, 2nd, and 4th.

We are about the last team in the league that is in a position to give up something like that for a wide receiver. I don't care what his name is.

First off Boldin wouldn't play in Green Baye because he wouldn't get the money. Also has Jennings made the mistake and signed a contract extension yet? I don't think he has so how can you say we would have a great tandem for years to come.

Why i wanted Crabtree is to cover if Jennings leaves to free agency, before you guys get your panties in a bunch, listen to the reasoning i see Jennings leaving plain and simple. The NFL is a business and with an uncapped year next year Jennings will be offered a ton of money we won't match. If somehow Jennings signed an extension he would be one of the stupidest players in the nfl. We drafted Crabtree he would be just as good as Jennings and we would still have Driver. How does Driver and Jones look to you folks now?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

If you really think uncapped years are going to lead to a spending spree, the Green Bay Packers would be pretty much done as legitimate contenders no matter what. We simply couldn't compete with Dallas/NY/NY etc. That issue is a little bigger than Jennings.

Jennings will resign here.

I think a lot of Boldin - he's clearly a warrior and his skills speak for themselves.

But I can't see the Packers w/out Driver unless he retires or asks for a trade, or something. The guy is who I think of when I think "Green Bay Packers", and even if his physical skills aren't on par with Boldin's at this point, his heart definitely is.

I'm a little sad at how people seem so ready to get rid of Al. Dude got his spleen busted and asked to just have the thing cut out so he could get back on the field. He's gone to war for the Packers time and time again. Dude is nails.

Maybe the NFL is a business and there's no place for loyalty, but as a fan I'm going to stay loyal to Driver and Harris until they give me a reason not to.

Also, I think Hazer's right and he's probably not at all interested in coming to GB - he wants to be the top dog WR of whatever team he goes to, and in GB the top dog WR goes by the name of Jennings (where I disagree with Hazer is that I think we'll get him re-upped).

Here is Jennings problem.. no capped year means that he won't be an Unrestricted free agent (they have to wait an additional *2* year minus the CBA), sooooo Jennings will likely be in Green Bay in 2010 regardless.

Ok PackZ where does that leave Jennings ? He would have no contract so does that mean he is forced to sign with GB? I didn't read up an all of it so i really don't know. I'll go off and do some research now.
