It is kinda like cheers the bar. Lots of discussion, differing views, but for the most part, everyone respects each other and their opinions. And when one is in need, everyone puts downs their differeing views and comes to the rescue of the one in need. Family.

I like it alot to a neighborhood bar where JSonline is like the big hip hop club in a big city. The neighborhood bar all get along for the most part and become knowledgable of each others personal life. The Hip hop club is purely a collection of individuals there for a similar taste and no personalization. And because of that, it is much easier to diss each other and have fights break out because there is no caring of other individual.

Also, if you have ever noticed, in a neighborhood bar, when a rebel comes in and gives one of the regulars or the owner/bartender a hard time, ALL the other regulars jump to his aid and get rid of the rebel(troll).

cheers!

I also jumped here from the other site when it went all jets colors.

This is my one stop shop for latest Packer news. You guys are on top of things when it comes to finding the latest Packer info!

It was also nice to get away from some of the ***** firsters that were rushing in on the other site at the time.

A lot of like minded Packer fans came here so the decision to move was a no brainer. :thumbleft:

Question: Can anybody tell me why the forum appears to be white and blue to me? I have a feeling it really doesn't look like this cause I believe it's Green and Gold when I'm not logged in. Also, when clicking the forum button from the main page, it brings up another window for the forum. This all started happening to me at the same time months ago. The extra window I can deal with, but the colors have got to go if it's an option.

You want to finish your career here?

It might be one of your forum account settings, so have a look at that and maybe default it. I'm still seeing the familiar green and gold scheme that I've always seen here.

I first came here to watch the live streams since I live in Indiana I never get to watch the Pack unless they are on national tv. But, I read the forums daily in my computer class and I definitely learn a lot from what people say.

It seems like most people here are pretty intelligent and there are some great posters that have a comedic gift.

Although I am not a MOD, or have any connection with this site, I would be interested why all of you come here?

I would love to know why the regulars post here, read here, and vent here. What makes you tick, why here at Packers Home?

I AM ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN THE ANSWERES FROM PEOPLE WHO LOG ON REGULARLY, READ, AND NEVER POST. I KNOW THERE ARE A TON OF YOU!

GO AHEAD AND MAKE YOUR FIRST POST.

Is it the people or members posts that make you respond? Is it the thread content and education? Is it because you have been to other packer sites and it was not as well run?

Is it because you love some of the naysayers and love reading their conviction of how the Packers "Suck"?

Is it because you have no life and have been spanking the monkey all day on porn sites and just needed a little NFL Packer Talk this off season?

Be candid.

Like I said.... I am not affiliated with this site...

I just am a very inquisitive guy. Some times I just need answers to thoughts that burst into my mind.

Praytell... Readers and Posters..... Why The Hell Are You Logging On?

It's where I get my Packers news. More reliable than any other source.

Plus, you get to argue facts. I like arguing facts and going round and around in circles for days. Fun stuff.

I used to frequent the JSonline forum, then when that shut down it seemed like most of the good posters migrated over to packerforum.com(or here and i just didnt know about it). When that site went down the toilet i found out about this place, and have been checking pretty much every day since.

There are a lot of people who are very knowledgable here, really know what they are talking about and very few actual trolls(jsonline and PF were FILLED with them). So i've been really happy with the site. I only post on occasion, generally because i dont have the same level of football knowledge as some of you guys here, so i dont often have anything of value to add.

Usually when i open my web browser in the morning, i open a tab with PH, Jsonline, and profootballtalk to check for the latest discussion/news/rumors.

I came across another site sometime a couple years back - mostly I wanted to get some information on the Packers, because in Minneapolis it's not easy to come by (shocking, huh?). Then that place went down and some nice person (I forget who, apologies to that person) tipped me to this place.

By and large, I still come here mostly for some extra information, possibly an inside scoop or two, and just to see what other Packers fans are thinking. I got sucked into the Favre thing last year, and I'm a little embarrassed that that's what got me posting, but I would say without question that the endless arguments and debates about No. 4 are my least favorite aspect of the site. Still, it's reality - to be a Packers fan in 2009 is to be a part of a community that's bitterly divided, and I guess to an extent I come here to see how bad that rift is on any given day.

I've not gone to a ton of Packer boards to compare, but it seems as if there's a larger proportion of knowledgeable folks here, which is a plus for me. Even the "haters" like DHazer and DD80 know what the hell they're talking about, even if I sometimes wish they'd use that intelligence for something other than documenting how crappy our GM is. Still, I'd rather read intelligent criticism than simple sour grapes.

I don't think of myself as a "regular" here or anyone who contributes much - in my mind I'm still a lurker who occasionally posts an opinion or asks a question. I do very much appreciate that there's a place to go to be in a community of other Packers fans, definitely, so thanks to all who work to keep this place afloat.

Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood How much did the injury affect him last fall? “A lot.”
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood Kenny Clark said he had foot surgery in January. Injured his foot in opener against Eagles and played through it all year.
Zero2Cool (3-Jun) : Golden is wearing guardian cap again. I bet he plays with it on too.
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : All the stuff I'm reading from Lions fans are pointing at his toe; he more or less has permanent turf toe in one of his big toes

Zero2Cool (29-May) : Whoa
beast (29-May) : OMG the website is now all white, even some white on white text
beast (29-May) : Henderson, who admits to taking cocaine during the Super Bowl against the Steelers, might dislike Bradshaw as he lost two Superbowls to him
wpr (28-May) : Hollywood Henderson said Bradshaw “is so dumb, he couldn't spell 'cat' if you spotted him the C and an A.”
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : Cooper stock=BUY BUY BUY
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : Also notes he’s playing with more confidence.
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : @AndyHermanNFL MLF says there was a time last year where Cooper was at 220 pounds. Now he’s at 240 and still flying around.
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : And don't even get me started on Frank Caliendos "impersonations"
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I got tired of them being circle jerks with them overlaughing at each others jokes.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : It used to be must watch TV for me. now it's "meh" maybe to hear injury update
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I haven't watched the pregame shows in years and I don't feel like I've missed a thing
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Love says knee affected him all season, groin injury didn't help matters.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : I used to enjoy him on FOX Pregame. Now it's like a frat party of former Patriots.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : LaFleur on Watson: “Christian is doing outstanding. I would say he’s ahead of schedule.”
Martha Careful (28-May) : Bradshaw is a dumb ass cracker. I am so tired of his "aw shucks" diatribe. He should shrivel up and go away.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : He wad all butt hurt because Aaron duped the media saying he was immunized.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : Bradshaw needs to retire. He's been ripping on Rodgers ever since the covid crap. He was all hury
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Terry Bradshaw doesn't want Rodgers in Pittsburgh lol wow
Zero2Cool (27-May) : one day contract, which he also feels is pointless, but if Packers came to him, he would
packerfanoutwest (27-May) : Aaron Rodgers talks possibility of retiring with Packers, just another rumor
dfosterf (27-May) : Go watch 2001
