11. WR Grant DuBose (#7 WR)

23. OL Andre Dillard (there are 5 OTs and the other backups are said to have made the 53 man roster)

31. DE Brenton Cox Jr. (#5 and #6 DE)
32. DE Arron Mosby

37..DT Colby Wooden (#5 and #6 DT)
38. DT Jonathan Ford

48. CB Robert Rochell (#6 and #7 CBs)
49. CB Kalen King

55. S Zayne Anderson (#6 Safety)

=========================

Well we need 6 more cuts, and there are six positions listed, but I was thinking the Packers would keep 9 pass rushers, and currently there are 12.

Plus if they keep the roster even at 25 each, then only one offensive player would be released.

So basically keep 3 and cut 6 of the following (and don't forget, we might have a chance to trade one away for a 7th or something)

1. WR Grant DuBose
2. OL Andre Dillard
3. DE Brenton Cox Jr.
4. DE Arron Mosby
5. DT Colby Wooden
6. DT Jonathan Ford
7. CB Robert Rochell
8. CB Kalen King
9. S Zayne Anderson

Note: I did not watch the preseason games this year.

Keep
1. WR Grant DuBose
3. DE Brenton Cox Jr.
7. CB Robert Rochell

Cut
5. DT Colby Wooden
8. CB Kalen King
2. OL Andre Dillard
4. DE Arron Mosby
6. DT Jonathan Ford
9. S Zayne Anderson

Again I didn't watch the preseason games but

I think DuBose has a lot of physical potential.

From what I've heard, Rochell showed up a lot on ST coverage.

DE Cox vs DT Wooden was my last decision, and I know some of the power DEs like Gary and Van Ness have been used at times in a pass rush DT role. And Wooden was struggling to find the right fit in the 4-3 while in college. And DEs might be the harder to find.

CB King, I think might slip to the PS and Packers have often only kept 5 VBs lately.

Dillard was being abused in practice reports and might as well go cheaper options that still have a chance of developing.

Mosby supposedly had an awesome game, but I didn't see it, and there are just so many DEs already, and he's sort of a tweener built.

Ford, he's huge, outside of that, I haven't heard much about him.

S Anderson has so many young Safeties in front of him

So IIUC, this is the current roster:

Quarterbacks: (2) Jordan Love, Malik Willis
Running Backs: (3) Josh Jacobs, Marshawn Lloyd, Emanuel Wilson
Tight Ends/H-Backs: (3) Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft, Ben Sims
Wide Receivers: (6) Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, Malik Heath
Offensive Line: (10) Rasheed Walker, Jenkins, Josh Myers, Jordan Morgan, Zach Tom, Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk, Kadeem Telfort, Travis Glover, Andre Dillard (MC comment, amazed Dillard made it, sanity on Lombardi Ave as turnstile Newman did not....I am a bit surprised Tenuta did not make it over Dillard, IMO he will be on a roster)
Defensive Line: (5) Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, TJ Slaton, Colby Wooden, Karl Brooks
Linebackers: (5) Quay Walker, Isaiah McDuffie, Eric Wilson, Edgerrin Cooper. Ty'Ron Hopper
DE/OLB: (6) Rashan Gary, Preston Smith, Kingsley Enagbare, Lukas Van Ness, Brenton Cox Jr, Arron Mosby
Cornerbacks: (5) Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes, Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine, Corey Ballentine
Safeties: (5) Xavier McKinney, Javon Bullard, Evan Williams, Zayne Anderson, Kitan Oladapo
Specialists: (3) Daniel Whelan, Greg Joseph, Matt Orzech

I was hoping to see Kalen King and Anthony Johnson Jr make it. Hopefully, they can sneak one or both onto the practice squad. I was surprised to see both Cox and Mosley make it (I figured they would go with 5 DEs). It's a little surprising to see Zayne Anderson over AJJ too but I guess that's for special teams.

Glad to see Newman cut. Not surprised by Dillard making it - he's not a good starter but he's probably an okay backup getting backup money. I mean, he can't be worse than Newman can he? Hopefully, they can get Caleb Jones and/or Luke Tenuta on the PS.

beast (3h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (3h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (13h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (13h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (16h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (16h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (17h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (17h) : Thank you
wpr (18h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (18h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (18h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (18h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (18h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (18h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (18h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (19h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (19h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (19h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
