Ageism? What about sexism? Not a single woman on the list!!!!
I would throw my name in the hat if they would:
• Pay my moving expenses
• Pay for an assisted living facility for me
• Provide transportation to and from the Packers facility
• Hook my computer and iPad up to Wi-Fi so that I could FaceTime my grandkids
Key components of the defense.
• Aggression
• Unpredictability
• Stop the run
• Pressure the passer
The foundational component of the defense would be a 3-4 with plenty of over looks to keep the offensive line honest. It would be based on the Baltimore 3-4 concepts. Most plays I would run slants, stunts, and rush at least one of the four linebackers, but they wouldn't know which was coming.
Further:
• My outside guys would all learn how to set an edge…and they would do it well.
• I would always scheme to take away the other team’s best receiver
• I would be in a base cover two however, I would vary the coverage between zone under and man under
• There would be no 9 yard cushions on 3rd and short
• We would be able to apply pressure most of the time with four guys, but occasionally rush a 5th
• In late half and late game situations, we would rush 4. Three of these would be to the passer's throwing arm to force the roll out the other direction and into the arms of the fourth rusher.
Zero2Cool, if Coach LaFleur reads this and contacts you. You can give him my contact information.
If not, these should be a the key criteria for a new coach.
