Just a thought on the available coaches this year.
Clearly, Harbaugh is the 'bell of the ball'. He is young, has great pro experience, and is coming off a national championship. But IMO he relishes being the center of attention, which I do not like. One aspect of MLF which I like is that he does not thrust himself into the center of attention and, to me, he really seems to make it about the players, which they appreciate.
Everyone seems to be in love with Belichick, and I supposed I understand that given his incredible record. But he is OLD, and his last few years have not been stellar.
To me, Mike Vrabel would be a my choice if I were an owner over Harbaugh. He actually reminds me of a younger, less grumpy Belichick. You may recall that Belichick had a head coaching stint in Cleveland that did not go that well and did not end well. He learned from his mistakes and record for Belichick 2.0
(I hope you like the IT reference Z2C!!) is outstanding. IMO, Vrabel was pretty darn good in Tennessee, much better than Belichick 1.0, and he would be my first choice if I were a GM looking for a new guy.
