I did NOT think this would happen. The 2023 Packers made it into the playoffs. Granted, 7 of 16 isn't saying much. I just did NOT think they had it in them during a growth season to get into the playoffs.

Yes, we gonna get bounced out, but damn, the playoff experience for this young team is gonna make them HUNGRY in 2024. Just like that 2009 Wild Card made them hungry in 2010.

You can't assume they will get bounced out. The Lions went toe to toe with the cowboys and we beat the lions.

You're right. But it's about matchups. Some teams are matchup nightmares for another team. What's Cowboys good at? What aren't they good at? What are we good and bad at?

And can our coaches exploit those weaknesses?

One major thing that cannot go unsaid. Cowboys have a lot of pressure. Dak trying to get his first playoff win, right? Cowboys back to back to back 12 win seasons with nothing to show for it except Division Title.

Packers got ZERO pressure and ZERO expectations. It's like house money.

Cowboys have beat up a lot of crappy teams to get where they are at. They have a losing record vs teams above .500 while the Packers have a winning record. The only thing im worried about is Joe barry and the Cowboys being a different beast at home.

But again, win or lose, this season has been a huge success as is!

I honestly think we are a good match up vs Dal. They may have Lamb but their run game is weak. We have 3-5 WR's who can make plays and have a run game. I wouldnt be shocked if we won. I dont expect it but just saying..

I actually like this match-up better than the Detroit one. I also like the Rams vs Detroit match-up given the Stafford & Goff story and could definitely see the Rams winning.

My biggest concern is we are not getting many turnovers. With Dak that often is the key to beating the Cowboys. Perhaps if Barry keeps dialing up the pressure we win the turnover battle.

If Jones is healthy and gets a bunch of touches I can see him having a big day and us winning the time of possession. I hope that LaFleur doesn't forget about him. I'd hate to say that Dillon being injured might have been a blessing because they used Jones as the feature back for practically the whole game, but it certainly forced their hand in a do-or-die game.
