The Salary cap hit will be very manageable.
The big numbers won't kick in for a couple of years.
This shows The Packers are willing to keep their own players in house.
Gute tried the FA market I'm 2019, it was successful but didn't get the final results they were hoping for.
Transition year, let's keep moving on!!

Per Bill Huber, the signing bonus is $34,636,928. The base salaries are $4.9 million in 2023, $1.3 million in 2024 and $6.8 million in 2025 before soaring to $18 million in 2026 and $21 million in 2027. The deal includes roster bonuses of $6.2 million in 2024 and $8.7 million in 2025.

This move should significantly lower Gary's cap hit for 2023.

I'm glad they worked out a deal. It is manageable. He's a stud player but I still think he has not accomplished enough to merit the top tier money. I was thinking it would be closer to $22 mil a year.
