The question is not if the site is dangerous. The question is if it is being identified as such by some warning message that is scaring off prospective members. I seem to recall something when I used my laptop, but that was so long ago I don't quite remember what it said
Our last join seems quite awhile ago so might be an indication that a warning is keeping people from here
That's all I'm asking about, certainly not inferring that this site is actually risky or anything

SSL is the right way to go. I just cannot stand all the annoying hoops they make folks jump through. I had to make up a department and organization because those were required fields.

By installing an SSL certificate, your site will be able to make use of HTTP/2, which will result in faster webpage load speed

This is a question.
How many prospective members are warned that this is a dangerous site to join?

I don't know the particulars, but I saw you discussing the rationale behind not worrying about it because its a beta whatever.

I invited a guy to join from a bar.

He went to join and was told that this place is dangerous. Did not join.

When was the last time someone did?

One thing that is very nice about the new look is the border running at top that separates the website options from the rest of the page.
