We couldn’t afford a 1yr deal worth up to 4 million? At a position of need for a player that already knows the defense? Hmmm…

Though it begs the question, should they be called the Packers or the Vikings since they do the same thing? 🤔🤣

Saw this was referenced in the shout.

The Jets’ Adrian Amos acquisition makes a bit more sense now. Chuck Clark suffered a knee injury, one Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports is feared to be serious

I don't think they're laying down by any means, but I think it's really trying to give those young guys opportunity to develop and grow. This is going to be the catalyst to us winning the Super Bowl during the 2025 season. Get your tickets.

Here are his PFF ratings for the last 5 years:
2018: 82.9
2019: 76.5
2020: 89.4
2021: 74.7
2022: 53.4

I think there are two ways to look at this, if we look at the last 3 years, it looks like a clear and obvious decline. If we look at the last 5, 2022 seems like an outlier and I would assume he plays better in 2023. Having said that, it's unlikely he will regain his 2020/2018 form at this point.

And it was reported that before the off season Packers were trying to resign Amos. Not sure if we low balled, or if Amos and his agent over played their market and/or both.

Though, since Amos is signing so late and so little, seems like either teams didn't want him, or they overplayed the market.

But yeah, regrowth, rebuild, restock, ricostruire, ricrescere, rifornire whatever you want to call it to be positive, Packers are not allin on 2023 (which with limited resources in terms of cap space) which is smart as if you try to be allin all the time you just wear your resources down... you need to back off the accelerator and coast at times, to rebuild the cap space and rebuild and load up the roster with more picks.

Heck, Gute traded down as much in the 2023 draft than he did all other draft years combined ... and more so if you don't count trade down followed by trade up for Alexander

Zero2Cool (8h) : “Kenny Clark played all of last season hurt by the way and got surgery to fix it in January”
Mucky Tundra (8h) : @ByRyanWood How much did the injury affect him last fall? “A lot.”
Mucky Tundra (8h) : @ByRyanWood Kenny Clark said he had foot surgery in January. Injured his foot in opener against Eagles and played through it all year.
Zero2Cool (11h) : Golden is wearing guardian cap again. I bet he plays with it on too.
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : All the stuff I'm reading from Lions fans are pointing at his toe; he more or less has permanent turf toe in one of his big toes
dfosterf (3-Jun) : Kenny played through it, and a shame he gets little credit for that, imo
dfosterf (3-Jun) : Big men. I hope it's not the undoing of Kenny Clark
dfosterf (3-Jun) : Probably his toe. Pretty much a great center. Toe injuries are brutal to bigen

Zero2Cool (29-May) : Whoa
beast (29-May) : OMG the website is now all white, even some white on white text
beast (29-May) : Henderson, who admits to taking cocaine during the Super Bowl against the Steelers, might dislike Bradshaw as he lost two Superbowls to him
