I don’t care about 2021. This defense was hyped up and on paper should’ve easily been top 5 this year. That didn’t happen, and usually when you have such a highly talented unit that underperforms so badly, that’s a coaching problem. His lack of adjustments in many areas (play calling, scheme, moving players around, etc) this year was glaring, and it took until December to see anything change. It also took his players telling him what to do in order to see success. That’s horrible.
Unfortunately, similar things can be said about LaFleur.
