I think Joe Barry is going to remain with the Packers in 2023. I'm not voting for this. I'm not petitioning for this. Unless Jim Leonhard makes himself available, I don't see Packers making a change.
I say this because I've noticed adjustments and not just after halftime since about week five or six. In-game adjustments. You mix that in with some of the injuries, especially losing Rashan Gary and Eric Stokes and you still see the defense fighting their asses off? That tells us the coordinator hasn't lost them. Maybe they're fighting because it's their job? Maybe they're fighting because it's their nature? Either way, they are fighting, they are scrapping.
They held the Bears to just 19 points. Not really a lot to brag about there. But you can't control who you play.
They held Rams to just 12 points. They made Baker look incompetent when he played his ass off the week prior. Then Rams team put up 51 points the following week. The Rams defense helped with good field position. Broncos were doing pretty well defensively.
They held Dolphins to 20 points, shutting them out in 2nd half. They have a helluva quick strike offense and they stopped them pretty damn well.
You and I know this isn't a resume that keeps your job. I just fear that Matt LaFleur will stick with the enemy he knows, rather than replace him. Again, unless someone becomes available that he has confidence will do better.
