Sources say that the Packers have been calling around the league trying to trade for a receiver that is still on their rookie contract. This would be someone like Claypool, Jeudy, or Elijah Moore.

It feels like teams don’t like trading with Green Bay. I don’t know why though. Hopefully we get something done.

Yeah because MVS was the answer to all our WR issues, right? And if Packers offered they contract you'd be first in line to bitch about wasted money. Rightfully so too!!

We needed every experienced WR in this system to take off the pressure from our rookies.

How many guys like Rasul Douglas has Gutey picked off the scrap heap? WR is really our only weakness imo, but we've got guys. We just need a #1.

Cobb? old aging injured WR.

We have nothing at WR except young talent that are clearly not ready to perform this year.

You bring up Rasul Douglas, he;s a one trick pony. If he isnt making INTs (which he is not this year) then he gets beat a lot and badly.

I seen this coming a mile away. All i read was how the Packers offense was going to be better without Adams because it allows Rodgers to spread the ball. I called the opposite and here we are in week 8 looking like crap and hate to say I was right. Everyone cries when i criticize this team so i kept my mouth shut for the most part and cheered on in a home way. Now im not. This team is going no where and like I said before, the Bills game will expose us badly when we face an elite team.

we are not just a WR away. We are a couple of O-line men, safety, CB, and two solid WR's away and thats not counting the downtrend of our QB and coach.

MVS sucked…he only get open deep occasionally (when a defense is focussed on 3 other guys) and cant run precision patterns.

MVS wasn't great for the Packers. Scheme? QB? Whatever it was, he wasn't great. If Packers matched that contract, you would be first in line bitching about wasted money. So let's just be real here, mmmkay?

Nice try though! What's next, you gonna blame Mark Murphy? The board share holders? I mean, let's just go straight to the top and blame Jesus himself. WE MUST BLAME SOMEONE!!!!!!

Okay, enough of that nonsense. Your point that we need WR's is 100% valid. There is this guy, his name is Sammy Watkins. They brought that guy in to help Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb with those rookies. If you want to talk about a bone head move, I think relying on some oft injured WR is just that. Who didn't predict Sammy having a bad hammy?

I am with you that the Packers should have done more to add more WR's to the WR room. Sure, if everyone was healthy we have a decent, MAYBE good WR corps. But again, we all knew Sammy wouldn't play 17 games. Hell, I think we all jokes if we got 9 games that would be a win! Christian Watson injury really hurts this team more than most will accept. Same with Randall Cobb.

Let's see if the knucklehead GM makes a move for a QUALITY WR ... I will not be holding my breath. Why? Because our damn QB needs multiple seasons before trusting a damn WR enough to THROW HIM THE DAMN BALL.

That guy is full of fluff with no stuff. How does YouTube let him broadcast? How hard is it to craft some story about your sources, then walk it back saying THIS DOESN'T MEAN SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. Yeah, the Packers talk to a LOT of teams. And yeah, the Packers give permission to be thrown into talks for other teams to raise the price. This is common knowledge. Hell, Andrew Brandt said he encouraged agents to use Packers "interest" as leverage.

Being smarter than everyone is a curse.
