My opinion is that Rodgers is NOT the problem. It's the FACT that he's pressured every time he tries to pass. Yes, I'm sure there are times a WR gets open. But by that time, Rodgers is either running for his life, or is already being knocked down.
It's hard to throw the ball when you are on your back.
And how many drops were there yesterday? I didn't count them, but I know there were WAY too many. Any one of them could have kept a drive going and may have ended up in points. This team isn't good enough to overcome those kinds of mistakes.
All of our current WRs can't be depended on to catch anything, even a perfect throw.
Again, that's where Adams was exceptional. A ball didn't have to be a "perfect" throw, and he would find a way to catch it.
These guys get it in their hands, and still can't catch it.
They get hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars to catch the ball. Yet they can't constantly do so.
Then you have Amari, who muffs a punt, and does very little on offense. That muff, gave the Washington team great field position. Yet our D held them to a field goal. They did their job. Now, take away that "free" 3 points, and what would the score be? And who knows, maybe our offense would have scored points on that drive. And how do you think our defense felt? They just held them to a punt, and now had to go back on a short field and hold them to 3 points. Which they did.
That has to be defeating to them.
And all it takes is one bad O-lineman that can't pass block. That can kill your passing game.

So tired of the excuses for Aaron Rodgers. Even Tony Dungy called out Aaron Rodgers last night because even Tony Dungy sees WR's getting open. We just watched a game where Taylor 'freaking' Heinicke had someone in his face 29 times and yet he still delivers the ball to the players. Enough of the excuses. Sick of it. Aaron Rodgers is playing BAD FOOTBALL.

Why is it we can lie and say he's pressured every time he tries to pass, but then say there are only times WR gets open? Seriously, how flip flop of facts can you get? The blatant stubbornness to see the elephant in the room is mind boggling.

MY OPINION IS THAT AARON RODGERS DOESN'T TRUST THE PLAYERS AROUND HIM. And until he pulls his head out of his ass, this team will not go anywhere except a higher draft selection.

And if his thumb is why he's not under center, then give the guy a week to rest so he can recover.

I will say this. It is hard to throw when you're on your back. However, Aaron Rodgers is not that QB, that was Taylor Heinicke on Sunday. And the kid made plays that our back to back MVP couldn't or wouldn't.

And for those saying Aaron Jones needs more touches. Jones touched the ball 40% of the snaps.

It's not one thing. It's not the QB. It's not the RB. It's not the touches. It's an entire team playing like a rudderless boat.

Amari Rodgers is not a returner. Put him in on offense and use him. It's not like we have many options.

Packers should just punt. The entire offense is a floundering failure of crapola on a stick. Only thing the offense does "well" is OL run blocking. And that's being generous.

When your defense has to spend two thirds of the game on the field, not only are they exhausted, but it has to be demoralizing as well.
These "pros" are supposed to be the best of the best. Yet they can't catch the ball? Like I said, those drops probably cost us the game. Add to that the fact that Amari Rodgers should never been on the field returning punts, and why our coach couldn't see that, after all the miscues he's had, is beyond stupid.
Again, doing the same things over and over and expecting different results is INSANE.
MLF looks like a deer caught in the headlights in his post game interviews. 3 losses in a row, and no idea what to do. He's like the Capton of the Titanic. "I'm not gonna let a little ice stop me!"

I think Amari Rodgers has five fumbles and like 7 receptions in his career. Maybe the kid cannot return? Maybe he should just used on offense as jet sweep guy and short pass guy or something? He looked better at WR (energy wise) than the other clown show dancers. He just looked electric out there. That deep pass, if Rodgers throws a better ball, maybe it's TD? That said, I still think Amari should have caught that one even though it was insanely tough. Again, it is literally your job description to catch the ball.

I started a thread about this, but yeah, maybe LaFleur is great at designing plays, but not good at calling plays? How many times has he challenged a play saying it was emotional and he was told not to? Have him draw plays up, but have someone else call them? I dunno. I just think we stinks though.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
