That being said, there are times when I wish Joe Berry would throw in more hyper aggressive plays... not for an entire game, but a change up call or change up series... like just for oen set up 3 downs, go heavy blitz and man on man coverage... if they get a big play, then go back.

Vikings knew to get 18 away from 23. Others have noticed.

From Doug Farrar -- Matt LaFleur brought this up after the game, and it really showed up on the field. Kevin O'Connell did a masterful job aligning and motioning Justin Jefferson away from Jaire Alexander in the Packers' zone-heavy defense. Based on my charting, Green Bay defenders vs. Jefferson:

Um, at halftime Jefferson accounted for almost 91% of the Vikings yards in the air. He had both Vikings TDs. By the end of the game, he accounted for almost 67% of the Vikings passing yards. If the D could contain Jefferson at all (not an easy task, but something a self-proclaimed "elite" capable D should be able to do), the Packers are in the game with a chance to win.

Perhaps you don't think this D is capable of being elite -- which is fine. But if you think this D has upgraded itself, and has the talent to be a problem, then the performance they turned in last night is not acceptable. Even if it was "fine" by NFL standards, we've known for months that this team was going to rely on its Defense playing at a high level. If you have the coaches professing the ability of the Defense to be elite, you simply cannot have the D play like it did yesterday.

Also, the O clearly left 14 points on the field -- a drop by Watson that would've been a TD and the fourth-and-goal stop on the 1 yard-line. Better execution gets us to 21 points total for the game -- not at all indicative of a "shitty" O.

I'm sure playing the Vikings with a new scheme the first time had an impact on the numerous breakdowns on O and D. But I don't think the talent gap between the Vikings and Packers is that big, and I'm confident the Packers' coaching is better. This team should be fine, but the D needs to show it can be elite.

D gave up what, 17 points?

D held Vikes to FGs on those turnovers, correct? I'd have to go back and review.

Hold teams to 20 points per week, we should be able to win a lot of games.

I used to enjoy watching harris and woodson going man 2 man and doing really well - miss those days.

Dont matter how much we paid these guys if they dont stop the opp. passing game then we lose.

Being that it was painfully obvious that zone wasn't working, why not try man coverage?
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
The Packers coaching staff should realize that. I guess they aren't as smart as we thought.
What have you got to lose when you are getting creamed, and what you are doing isn't working?
I mean, it can't be any worse then it already is.

Problem wasn't the scheme. It was the execution by the players. Coaches can only do so much. It'll be interesting to see how we rebound. Err, IF we rebound lol

beast (3h) : Yeah, but also some of the wording suggestions Jax only pranked called the QB, not the others... and if he had an open spreadsheet & 3 calls
beast (3h) : Thank goodness he's not leaving the Turtle in the Red Tide
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (4h) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (4h) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (4h) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (4h) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (4h) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (5h) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (5h) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (5h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (6h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (6h) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
beast (7h) : It's not official until I'm dead! I have a chance still! (Not really)

Mucky Tundra (26-Apr) : saw the tweet, he meant the city
Mucky Tundra (26-Apr) : Was that for the team or the city?

Martha Careful (26-Apr) : Bum Phillips used to say there are two ways to get better. Get better players or get players to play better. We have a new DL coach
Zero2Cool (26-Apr) : Yes. Look at the losses last year. They can win.
beast (26-Apr) : Can Packers win with their current DL?
bboystyle (26-Apr) : waiting for a pass rusher.
dfosterf (25-Apr) : 5 minutes between picks in the 3rd
dfosterf (25-Apr) : 3rd. Hate this phone

dfosterf (25-Apr) : 5 minutes in the 4
dfosterf (25-Apr) : 7 minutes between picks in the 2nd round
Martha Careful (25-Apr) : Sorry to bitch, but the headline writers in that section absolutely mislead, or don't know how to read. It is maddening
Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
TheKanataThrilla (25-Apr) : Pickens for Jaire may be interesting. Definitely not sure we want Pickens long term.
dfosterf (25-Apr) : No.Absolutely not
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : NO NO NO NO NO NO!!1 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
dhazer (25-Apr) : scenario: Our main prospects are off the board when our pick comes around, do we just throw a 2nd round pick at Pittsburgh for Pickens
