If your doctor recommends a 2nd opinion and says to see a Neurologist, what the hell do you do to prepare for that? Anything? I've had this thing scheduled for two months and it's coming up and no idea if I'm supposed to fast or avoid this or that, lol. I'm going to ask my doctor dude in coming days, but thought maybe someone here would have a clue.

I've had to see a few in my life. I don't think there was anything special that I had to do before seeing one.
But if you are concerned, give your doctor a call and ask, just to settle your mind.

So, I've had some issues that became very noticable over the last year and I figured I suppressed for enough years now and decided to see someone. No one really knows about this other than my daughters, but figured since I posed this thread, I'd give the feedback.

After the visit with neurologist today, she said the shaking is from Essential Tremors. And she said anxiety will make it worse, but is nothing life threatening or to be concerned about at this time.

As for Fatigue, Headaches, and Weakness she says those are directly related to not eating enough food, and not eating frequently enough throughout the day.

And the Blurred vision she thinks is an indicator that I need to get my eyes checked. She said going 9 years without seeing an eye doctor is wrong and said "get your damn vision checked" and even threw in a "you're in your 40's now" at me too.

She said I also have anxiety and depression, but cannot officially recommend that so she's going to have my doctor reach out to me for an evaluation and counseling.

FWIW, Neurologists are the best student in medical school so I would follow here advice.

Food is also medicine, so see a dietitian and you might be surprised how much sticking to a schedule and balance diet can help, including alleviating the need for supplements.

Hope you feel, and are, better very soon.

Nothing that stops me from doing normal daily things.
It's good you are taking care of it. It might even take care of some of your other problems, as the diagnosis might relieve some of your anxiety and depression.

A little secret your doctor probably won't tell you about your essential tremor: it will get better with a beer. No joke. No one really knows why essential tremors respond so well to alcohol. If it's interfering with your function, a prescription for propanolol will make your life better.

Any issues with your liver? I would nourish blood. There's herbs for that, but also raw vegetable juice. Beets and carrots would help.

How you doing these days?

Thanks for asking!

beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
