If that were true, Adams would not have signed his last contract extension.

And I bet Adams will never reach the numbers he had in GB.
And I doubt he has a better shot at a ring in Vegas then he would have here.

Davante Adams signed a four year $58 million extension in December 2017.
If Adams asked the Packers to trade him to the Raiders five years ago, it would have been in the final year of his rookie contract. I have no idea how the 2017 Raiders were at the time so who knows if they wanted to trade for a guy on an expiring contract AND pay him big. Maybe Raiders couldn't come to contract terms with him and thus no deal? Maybe there was some chatter about it and then when Packers said nope, we won't get enough in return, we want you, here's your $58 million extension, sign it and shuddup! haha (kidding, kinda) and he signed in December.
Based on what I've heard Adams say in his press conferences, I wouldn't at all be surprised if he asked for a trade to Raiders in 2017.
