I don't know that one should be placing Rhyan ahead of Royce before Rhyan even has one padded practice in the NFL. Royce Newman has proven he can play and start in this league. Rhyan has not. Let's slow the roll on putting rooks ahead of Newman.

I'm not down on Newman, he played well for a rookie 4th-round pick. But if He's the same guy in 22' as he was in 21', and Rhyan is the guy they're hoping he will be, Rhyan could be the opening day starter.

As of now, Royce Newman has proven he can start on the OL in the NFL. I don't live my life "hoping" and dreaming things will happen. I make them happen or give my support to those that can make them happen.
I think Rhyan was a quality draft pick and has potential. If I had to pick a starter at RG today between Royce and Rhyan...100% I go with Newman, because he has shown me he can do it.

Rhyan has a ways to go before he is there with me or this franchise. I wish him the best and hope he gets there as quickly a Royce did.

Right now I'm rolling with Runyan or Newman at RG.

If the season started tomorrow, I would go with Newman over Rhyan too. But it doesn't. We have camp and preaseason, and then we'll see how it shakes out. As I said, I'm not down on Newman, and think he could be a decent starter if he takes a year two jump. If he does he could be hard to beat out - on the other hand, recent history suggests the Packers draft interior lineman in the 2nd round to be starters. So I'm not dismissing either of them at this point.

Here was my ONLY issue with what you wrote: "Newman might be the 4th best guard on the roster behind Jenkins, Runyan, and Sean Rhyan."

Saying I'm trying to "impress" anyone is your own insecurity. If I wrote to you: Stop trying to impress people. How would you take it? Exactly.

I found what you wrote disrespectful of Royce and simply pointed it out. That is my prerogative. Not going to apologize for it. He has earned more respect than a rookie who you have never seen play.

And I was going to correct quake earlier on saying Rhyan was a 2nd round pick, but I thought he may claim it was a "weak position" that I "invented" to make him look bad. I am being playful now with it.😏

Sean Rhyan was drafted with the 92nd overall pick in the 3rd round.

Just want 100% factual comments here. Too much to ask? I think not.🍻

Speaking of beer, I was at a wonderful brewery in Chicago the other day. Off Color Brewing. Their Beer For Hell is divine.

Oh yes, I'm very insecure. You're not projecting at all.

Anywho, what sort of tantrum do you plan on having today?

Have a couple beers at luch today bruh, you seem stressed. I'm not the enemy, nor does any of this matter. I merely said you disrespected Royce in favor of a rookie you never saw play. The end.

It's going to all be ok. Life is grand!
