I don't know that one should be placing Rhyan ahead of Royce before Rhyan even has one padded practice in the NFL. Royce Newman has proven he can play and start in this league. Rhyan has not. Let's slow the roll on putting rooks ahead of Newman.

I'm not down on Newman, he played well for a rookie 4th-round pick. But if He's the same guy in 22' as he was in 21', and Rhyan is the guy they're hoping he will be, Rhyan could be the opening day starter.

I think Rhyan was a quality draft pick and has potential. If I had to pick a starter at RG today between Royce and Rhyan...100% I go with Newman, because he has shown me he can do it.

Rhyan has a ways to go before he is there with me or this franchise. I wish him the best and hope he gets there as quickly a Royce did.

Right now I'm rolling with Runyan or Newman at RG.

If the season started tomorrow, I would go with Newman over Rhyan too. But it doesn't. We have camp and preaseason, and then we'll see how it shakes out. As I said, I'm not down on Newman, and think he could be a decent starter if he takes a year two jump. If he does he could be hard to beat out - on the other hand, recent history suggests the Packers draft interior lineman in the 2nd round to be starters. So I'm not dismissing either of them at this point.
