Another question is, will Love want to stick around for 2 years while waiting to become "the guy"?

He has the right to earn his paycheck and Packers have a right to write that paycheck.

He does not have a right to compete for a starting spot, unless he's in the same ballpark of talent as the starter. And if he was, Packers probably would of went with the cheaper option and the former Packers offensive coach Hackett probably would of traded for him instead of Wilson.

If Love is good enough to start, he should show that and then Packers could get quality trade value for him.

Biggest reason to trade Love is if Aaron doesn't want him around. Lots of Articles on trading Love right now, I'm sure none of them are by Aaron Rodgers sycophants.

Kenny Pickett is 23 years old
Matt Coral is 23 years old
Malik Willis is 22 years old
Sam Howell is 21 years old

Jordan Love is 23 years old AND has two years of being coached up by a winning franchise.

If you're going to spend a mid-to-late first round pick on a QB, might as well go with Love.

Two years of being coached by NFL coaches, and two years off his cheap rookie deal, and what does he have to show for it?

So far... absolutely nothing.

I think GMs would prefer the two cheap years and a fresh start over a guy with experience but hasn't developed.

That's GMs, coaches can be a completely different mindset.
