Love is close to being ready. He is refining his game, making excellent progress.

Colts shipped Carson Wentz to Washington Commanders. Colts were a team chattering about Jordan Love.

I would hold out for a 1st round pick. He has 2 years of experience. The QB draft class is weak. Packers don't need to trade him. All the chips are in their favor. Get a wow deal or walk away.

Then again, once in a while you get those stupid teams like the Colts whom gave a 1st and a new contract for Wentz.
Having the benefit of a couple of days to think on the AB12 agreement, I think they will keep Love, which I think is good for the Packers and good for Love:
AB12 should feel secure about his position, that he is loved, etc. Ergo, he should not feel Love is a threat any longerI think AB12 had been a good teammate /trying to help the kid... this will improve even more so nowLove can relax, sit and learn and know that he is no longer 'a threat'i.e. Love can feel that he can just learn, play his garbage time reps, and get readyLove is cheap, and as Nerdmann points out, has strong upside:
Wonderlik 27, above averageExcellent wheelsWell Above Average Arm Strength albeit needs work on accuracy
Needs footwork discipline

I think Clemens with help this kid
Absolutely about Clements, and Rodgers has talked about how he was struggling and then was watching old tape and remembered some things he was forgetting about doing and started leg lifting more. I got a feeling he remembered something from his time with Clements that he was forgetting about, as Clements was gone but Mike McCarthy was still there. And Clements is a long time QB himself, though in the CFL, but College National Champion, 1st All American in college, 4th in the Heisman voting, CFL Rookie MVP, CFL MVP and two time CFL champion, CFL Hall of Famer.Just saying he's been around QBs longer than Love has been alive and maybe Rodgers too. And while not in the NFL as a player, he was successful.
