No question that Adams is a valuable member to the offense but some of Rodgers best games is when he is forced to spread the ball around and not lock in on Davante. I am looking at you NFC championship game.

From what I know, vaccine limits transmission and severity, it doesn't eliminate it purely.

It sure is nice to have a guy like Cobb in situations like these. That's not to say that Cobb can replace Adams, but without Cobb and assuming MVS isn't ready by Thursday, the alternative would be Lazard, a rookie with with 2 catches in the slot, and uhh, I guess St. Brown on the outside? Two guys from the practice squad as #4&5?

With Adams very likely out, the best case is Lazard and MVS on the outside, Cobb in the slot, and Amari Rodgers and St. Brown providing the depth - which isn't a terrible lineup.

Plus if Bahktari is playing, that could mean using Tonyan more in the passing game (less Lewis as a blocker/6th OL), and splitting out Aaron Jones more in empty back sets. I think they have the players on offense to make up for missing Adams. If it will be enough vs Arizona is another question though.

Alright, sorry... but time for crazy wild and stupid thought... could the Packers franchise tag Adams, and trade both Rodgers and Adams... and be alright?

This team can run the ball, of course, it's also Rodgers playing mental chess with the calls too.
