Aaron Rodgers on his relationship with Jordan Love: "I reached out a number of times to check on him... Hopefully he appreciated that. I think that's what I would want in that situation... That was important for me and that's not gonna change."

You have to like this. However, if I were to play Devils Advocate here -- how does he not know if Love appreciated it or not??

I would bet the words from 12 were something to the effect of:

"Jordan, this is not about you, so please to not take anything you are hearing to be an affront to you. This is about how they have treated veterans on this team. I have busted my ass for this team and have never publicly criticized personnel or coaching moves although, at times, they infuriated me.

I privately told the brass how I felt, and it leaked out. Its not about you, so never let anyone tell you it is.

So just focus on your job, learn the offense, and improve your craft. Be the professional I know you can be.

And if you feel like I am slighting you, call me."
