First Murphy is not the de facto owner nor does he see himself in that role.
Next whoever put together this list and his flimsy rational fails to follow his own thought process. Namely, "owners don't tend to fire themselves or those closest to them". Murphy hired MLF Gute didn't. MLF reports directly to Murphy not to Gute ergo, Matt is one of those closest to him. But using his flawed logic so is Gute so he can't be fired either.
In the long run there is no basis for Matt being on this list. It's just another far fetched shot at the Packers organization for not bending over and kissing Rodger's rear.
