It's no secret that Davante Adams' contract is up at the end of the upcoming season. Green Bay Packers fans are hoping it isn't long before he signs an extension. While many are concerned that the uncertainty at quarterback could play a role in Adams' future with the Packers, the star wide receiver went a

“That’s the plan, man. I’m not planning on going anywhere. That’s only one piece of it, though. Obviously the quarterback situation helps it, but the stars got to align across the board as far as contractually. We’ll figure all that stuff out and let it happen. I’ll be at training camp like I said regardless, we’re going to play the season, and we’ll see how all of that pans out.”

He's going to have more money thrown at him by other teams than the Packers can afford to pay.

I hope they get him signed here. He’s too good to let him go somewhere else.
I think he will wait to see if Rodgers shows up for camp.
If he doesn’t, then I could see Adams going some other place for more money.
If getting a ring is a high priority, then I think he signs here for a little less.....IF Rodgers agrees to play. His best chance is here in my view.

Based on Gute track record, I think he'll try to do what he has to resign Adams (the top guys) and possibly yet the others (Tonyan/MVS/St. Brown, etc) explore FA and try to get one or two of those back on reasonable deals, but will let them walk of not a decent deal.
