I'm thinking two one year deals might of been better... but reports suggest the new TV contracts should all be in the 2023 Cap limit, so when he's a FA again, Cap might be a huge of a lot higher and teams more willing to spend.
Point being, the team might not be a good for his career, but the timing of when he becomes a FA again might be.
Also, the Lions seem like they're trying to become a smack ball style team, which might fit to his strengths. Of course, didn't they have a ton of RBs already? That might be bad for him on the depth chart.
