If he still has some gas left in the tank, why not kick the tires?
It’s not like we have an abundance of talent on the defense. Teams ran the ball down our collective throats last year.
Plus taking away talent from the Vikings would be great. I imagine he might want to show his old team what they are losing out on.

Also, this suggest why fans are stuck on run defense, run defense, run defense; once again the Packers are actually focused on pass defense first, with the idea, that general if they can stop the passing game, they can win (with the 49ers showing the one flaw in that plan, but most teams can't and play callers won't even try) that run it all day game plan.
