Rookie TE Jace Sternberger open on a deep backside vertical - ball went to Jimmy Graham but one day he'll get the targets!

If this is the type of analysis used to critique Rodgers, it is flawed. It gives me pause regarding the balance of his analysis.

At the time the ball needed to be thrown, it was unclear whether or not this was two deep or man with help over.

In either case, the out cutting corner being run by Graham was the correct choice versus the fly being run by Sternberger.

I dont think the intent of the tweet was to criticize Rodgers but to show how Sternberger is coming along. It's pretty clear Graham is the primary target and the play action worked as intended. I think what Fennell was trying to say is Sternberger looked good on this play and it bodes well for the future with MLFs scheme.
