Can Aaron Rodgers turn it on when he wants to?
I've rolled that around in my cranium for some time now.
At times I think he can, but then I wonder why he doesn't do it all the time.
I think he had a down day yesterday and looked downright lethargic at times.
Hopefully he's not on the downslide soon after he signed his mega deal.

What about the game in Dallas where he went crazy and drove down field with the sensational catch then Mason hitting the FG to win? They were winning most of the game but when Dallas took the lead late int he game the Packers came through again.

Over his career he has come back and scored another td (if needed) right after the other teams scores to take the lead. Look at Nonstop's avatar.

Why doesn't he do that all the time? You simply can't play like that. Who could go out and give "115%" all game long? No one. Can players elevate their game to a higher level for a short period of time? The great ones do. And they can pull their teammates along with them. They don't always win but they go out trying.

The thing about yesterday's game they did not need Aaron's A+ or PFF score of 95 to win. If Washington would have taken the lead GB would have come back and scored.

Don't get me wrong. If they coast it could bite them in the butt.

Look how they drove down the field on the first possession. Why couldn’t they keep doing that?
Something isn’t coming together for some reason.
I STILL think they need the quick timing passes to open things up. They used to do that with Donald Driver and then Randal Cobb. It opened up the run AND longer passes.

Washington is not as bad as their record. Actually their really bad stats were when Gruden (0-5) was HC. Since Callahan (3-5) took over they have been doing better.

Since Callahan, their opponents have scored 16, 9, 19, 24, 34, 16 and 21.
GB's 20 is not totally out of line.

SF scored only 9!
MN scored only 19.
Does that mean they have crappy teams too? Not really. Washington is getting better as the season has progressed.

beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
